I grew up in Sumter, SC and have traveled to several continents and most of the 50 states. Growing up as a triplet had its own set of challenges. Yes, we fought often and food was scarce! 😁 It was because of a high school guidance counselor that had confidence in me, when I did not have it in myself, that I am a first-generation college graduate.
Fast forward 30 years, I have been privileged to work with many wonderful people and organizations. My diverse professional experience includes working with a Fortune Global 500 company as well as with the non-profit, religious, business, educational, and military communities. Additionally, as an Air Force veteran, I have learned the value of service, commitment, and putting the needs of others first. My degrees include an AS in Logistics, BS in Management, Masters in Business Administration, and Administrative Certification, K-12 Principal.
I am married to Carla.....we met in college where she met the man of her dreams......yet married me instead! 😁 We just celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. Carla has a degree in Music Therapy and most recently she served in various marketing roles in the healthcare industry prior to our moving to KY in 2015. Our daughter, Chloe, is a senior at Georgetown College where she will be graduating this year. Chloe's goal is to be a psychologist.
My family and I moved to KY to be closer to my wife's sister (Renee) and her husband (Tim). My wife has always been very close to Renee and Tim as they started dating when Carla was 8 years old. Tim is a retired Air Force pilot. He and Renee moved to KY when he started flying for Southwest Airlines. It is one of our greatest blessings to finally live within walking distance (literally 😁) of Tim and Renee. As Renee enjoys baking, many of her famous and beautifully decorated cookies have found their way to my class and students.😁

As my mantra is “Investing in the Lives of Others Through Service," I am big on responsibility, respect for one another, and community involvement. Students at Prosser are truly fortunate to attend this school and those to whom much is given, much is expected in return. My students will regularly hear me stress the importance of service to others. I also recognize the importance of lifelong professional and personal growth in keeping my skills relevant. I am also a licensed realtor. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering, fly fishing, and gardening.
I hope this gives you more insight into who I am. Thank you for trusting me with your child's education. I look forward to giving your child and my student, my best efforts every day.
